Get rid of the two machines and have one instead! What a spacesaver! We just bought this a few weeks ago and area very pleased with the product. Both work very well and it’s very compact. We had a problem with the remote but were able to replace it at no cost. It’s a great machine that we highly recommend!

Unit was very slow while loading DVDs. Now and then, the unit is unable to read DVD; and you need to turn the unit off and on to make it work. The remote control is unnecessarily complex and the performance was overall very poor.

My dad still watches his old movies in VHS. I'm surprised they still work. A lot of them seemed to have began deteriorating with static on the bottom half of the screen. I thought it was all of the tapes getting old, but after I bought him this player...in an effort to transition him to dvds... it turned out his old VHS movies still play pretty well. He'll buy into that DVD thing sooner or later, but he currently loves what the upscaling can do for VHS.

If you are looking for something that you can use to watch both DVD and VHS tapes with this is the product you need! Don’t waste all that space with two separate machines when you can have one machine! This is the best deal my husband has ever talked me into and believe me he has some crazy ones! Playback is amazing, we love it!

This DVD/VCR combo is decent, but it is too big. Who uses VCRs anymore anyways? I don't really recommend buying this.
