While on a tour one truck had this, the other didn't. While mostly good, it made enough mistakes for it to earn the nickname Dum Dum. For example the time it said I was at a restaurant when I was parked in front of an empty field.

The XL-S has a clear, large screen with amazingly detailed graphics. It comes with MapShare which allows you to submit changes to maps, add custom POIs, and share them with other TomTom owners. large, wide screen with great graphic. The maps are up-to-date, reliable and superior to the maps on other GPS devices (portables AND built-in units). I really like the TTS feature as well, it's a great bonus especially since many units don't offer TTS.
