If you are anything like me and make getting lost a daily ritual then you are going to love this thing! I bought it a month ago after many hours of research. To say that I am happy with my findings would be the understatement of the year! I’ve not made one wrong turn or ended up two hours out of my way because I didn’t see the exit! This little Navigator has become my best friend and I have no idea how I or anyone for that matter could live without it. If you are in the market for one then I strongly suggest you get this one. You won’t be sorry.

Looks Much Nicer Than It Does

How are you with directions:
Great w/Directions
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I purchased the Navigon 5100 getting impressed by the looks. But when I put it to use, it didn’t worth the money I spent. You can’t hear the speaker, even at maximum volume. The interface is highly convoluted. The maps are hard to read, and you can't modify the color-scheme. The interface is really time-consuming. Maps are also slow to bring up to date while driving. The POI system is very haphazard. It knows about unimportant car dealerships, but not the reliable auto part stores. I was expecting much more for the money I paid.

I have finally found that it is possible to leave my home and not get lost. this lovely little chrome device has quickly become my best friend! It is doing a great job with both country roads and city roads. I'm saving time. It looks good too. I wish it was just a bit bigger.

When you get used to driving around Manhattan, directions seem easy with street numbers and aves. Now once I head out of the city I get lost almost every time, but not anymore.

I've used PDA GPS programs, this one didn't connect much faster than those, but it looks amazing with the chrome finish. It also plugs right into the cigarette adapter for power.

Other than the fact that it has always given me the best directional heading, the coolest feature has got to be the touch screen!

I never had one before so I didn’t have anything but other people’s testimonials to go by. I picked this as it seemed like the easiest to set up and I really liked the traffic alert stuff, I want to make sure I know when I am driving I’m not going to run into traffic because I hate sitting in traffic!

The graphics and color quality is amazing on these. Have you seen one before? It almost looks better and clearer than a computer or TV screen!

It is very accurate! It’s also very small so it doesn’t get in the way at all. You can allow or disallow U-Turns and I think that is great because I can’t make a U-turn right in the middle of a major highway!

The only complaint I have is that is a little hard to hear out of the speakers but besides that I love it.

Over all I am very pleased with this and would highly recommend it to anyone.
