[...] The unit itself is perfect, especially if you are looking for a simple navigation without all the bells and whistles. Worked great right out of the box. Installed the driver on my computer and off I went. It recalculates quickly - the only thing I noticed was when I was coming home yesterday, I decided to let it bring me the way it would perceive as the best route, even though I am very familiar with the city. It told me to stay in the left lane to get onto MLK Blvd., well, truthfully you would need to get in the far right lane and then take the left exit, but I thought let's see how this does. When the far left did not take me to MLK as it said, it then recalculated immediately. It does tell you to sometimes take a different street that is not necessarily the best route, but it gets you there nonetheless. This will great in areas that you are unfamiliar with. I am leaving for a business trip tomorrow and will be taking my new Garmin c330 WAAS enabled with me. I am even going to order one for my mom who is technically challenged, as it is so easy to use, even she will have no problems! As far as the POI go, I loved the fact that I could say I wanted a restaurant, choose my cuisine, and immediately say go, and it would instantly route me to the restaurant of my choice. Kudos to Garmin and PC Rush for a simple to use, excellent product. And by the way, so far the mapping I received is excellent and current. Order one and you will be happy you did!

We recieved the unit for Christmas 07. We have used it every day since. Best Christmas gift ever. No more poor directions from Mapquest and Google maps when traveling to new places.

Highly recommend the 330c for money and easy of use. Package included more hardware (USB cable) and free maps of other countries compared to other units where it was an addtional cost.

Pro - worked right out of the box in the house - no loss of signal anywhere so far.

Pro- Included USB cable allows recharging from a laptop, great for business trips compared to other units that only include car charger.

Pro- Entertainment database is large - never knew of some many historic and fun places near our home

Pro- Shopping button to find stores where ever we are for my wife is a plus

Pro- Screen is easy to understand and the voice it a big plus when driving

Cons - none for the price so far

Note: Friends recieved a more expensive unit (+$200.00)and they plan to take their GPS unit back after seeing our Garmin 330c.

I bought the Garmin C330 few days ago, it comes ready to use right out of the box. No setups no computer downloads required. You take it out and bam you go where you need to go. The maps are very accurate, excelent screen bright colors, easy to use. its just perfect and very inexpensive. I think This Garmin is much better the some of the more expensive GPS systems. Definately would recomend it.

I am in construction so travel to different places for work. Used Mapquest before I got my Garmin. Day after I got the Garmin used it and shortened my trip 15 miles. Directions are fantastic. Can't say enuff good things about this. I researched all of them and the StreetPilot330 was given highest ratings. 340 and 350 seem to lock up, two friends have them. Would highly recommend it to anyone considering a GPS. Total simplicity and accuracy. [...]
