For the price this is a great printer. I have had mine for over 1.5 yrs. and it has never given me any trouble. Laser printers, in general, are not good for pic's, but a color laser jet for this cheap is a great deal. I have always said "you get what you pay for" especially with computer products, but this printer is an exception to the rule. Inkjet is still the best for printing pic's, but if you have to print in color a lot, like I do, you will save a lot of time and money with this printer. New toner cartridges are expensive, but all laser toner cartridges are expensive when the imaging drum is included with them.

Any one buying this printer in the hope of printing pictures, FORGET IT.
Color tones completely off
I even used the best recommended HP laser paper
Big Joke, you are better off using regular paper
Very expensive letdown. I have purchased and owned 2 Epsoms, 1 lexmark, 2 brother, HP500C, HP712C, HP6P, 2 PSC series and lastly the 2600N
how does HP sell this printer with a conscience.

Does not support mail merge print range function. Instead of printing ranges (1-2) it will print the entire document and there is no patch in the works from HP. [...]
would rather have my inkjet. This printer is doing the job I need it for, however, I am not making any money on this job...slow printing....and manual feed is very trying on the patience.
