Bought this to use with LED lights to light up a digital piano keyboard in dark venues. Love the sticky pads on the bottom, and yes it does stick! Don't try to remove it with as you will damage something. I also have one for my laptop and I plug in a fan into and that too has worked great. I was curious about the A/C adapter hole because it does NOT come with an adapter, but if you are plugging in something that you cannot power off a regular USB port what makes you think this would solve your problem? Overall it works just fine!
Purpose for which it is intended.

The Toshiba USB 2.0 4-Port Hub connects your USB devices, such as a mouse, keyboard, printer, and camera into one hub, helping to reduce cable clutter and saving you the hassle of re-connecting each cable every time you return to your desk. Obviously not for those who would plug six appliances into a plug strip and overload a wiring circuit. Same goes for a computer when a peripheral draws more power than a hub is designed to supply.

I tried it in both WinXP and Win7 PCs. Windows says that there is a problem during installation. Then plugging a USB device in any port results in Unknown Device error. I tried to find a driver for it (in case that was the problem) but the Toshiba web site does not even list this PA3627U-1ETC model!

Great little Hub, although there are some limitations (External HDs. To be fair, I have found in general that these work best without USB extensions of any sort). Flexible mounting and shape make it very adaptable to your work area. Good quality finish doesn't make it look cheap.

Some reviews on other sites complain that this doesn't work with Windows 7, but it does without any known issues (package is marked Vista compatible).
