Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Just like a normal switch except that one of the lines was optical. Purchased as a replacement to a switch that had been running for years in a dirty shop environment. Would have liked more info on the optical cable specs as I might want to use this in another application and having never used optical before I an not sure what this unit requires.
