No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Used the scanner for two months had a hardware problem with the unit and needed service. The warranty does not cover on-site and they wanted to charge me $500.00 to come out on-site for two hours, $65.00 each additional 15 minutes. Do not buy this unit unless you have money you are willing to through away towards service. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!
