The most significant advantage is you can get tremendously bright; decent consistency; usually better black-level performance as compared with an LCD. And the only drawback is the price which is a bit expensive than same-resolution LCD editions; rainbow effect. You can give it a try if you find the price easy on your pocket.

Refurbished is the way to go. Honestly, since this projector is for my personal use, I had to watch the dollars. This one not only gave me an opportunity to finally own a projector, but to actually own one that is just of superb quality. I'm very pleased. Still learning all about it. so far so good.

This projector is amazing. It's hard to purchase a projector as there's always something against it. The cost of bulbs, not being bright enough, etc. So I was a bit nervous on buying one, but PCRush just had a great price on this refurb, the bulbs are just a little over $300. The quality of the picture is amazing and it comes with a VGA cable straight to my pc. The fan on it is quiet enough not to interrupt the presentation and it even has speakers built in that are more decent than the ones on my laptop.

This projector is simply awesome. It is very easy to use, setup, install, and it blends in with my office furniture. It is perfect for presentations.

This projector really does an outstanding job. I have done about 20 presentations since I got it and I couldn’t be happier with the quality. Being a huge fan of Epson I knew that it would be a good product, but I had no idea that it would perform this well. It also comes with a carrying case so don’t go out and buy one like I did!
