ive had this projector for six months with no issues and i use it at least 10 to 12 hours daily its great in bright lighting and works even better in the dark

I bought the EX51 while deployed in IRAQ from [...] on sale for [$]. I used it there for over 6 months with all the dirt and dust. It has a nice little filter on the air intake for cooling. I have had it now for just over 2 years and never replaced the bulb. Picture is great, clear and sharp. I have used it for computer games, primarily for a console (xbox 360), and movies. At least 25 hours a week if not more. Finally gonna order a replacement bulb just to have on hand when this first one goes out...

No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Bought the Epson ex51, the bulb exploded inless than 6 mos. New bulbs are a fortune almost the price you pay for the projector. Be prepared if you buy this unit to pay over 200.00 at least every year or 6 mos. The warrenty on lamps are only good for 3mos. Cheap dollar store light bulbs that are on 12 hours a day last longer than these. Just be prepared.
