This kit is just the thing for portability and to help protect your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W530 in general. I'd recommend buying WriteRight Universal Screen Protectors so your screen doesn't get scratched up. I used to own a Sony Mavica, which is rather large and clunky, but much easier to steady by hand than these newer, smaller cameras. Having that mini tripod helps to steady those hand shots. The case itself is sturdy enough to protect the camera from everyday bumps, and is compact so it won't get in the way of things. Unfortunately, it doesn't come with a shoulder strap/belt, but it does have a belt loop attached to the back of the case. I happened to have a left over shoulder strap from my school notebook, and a belt keeper, so it worked out fine.

i like this case it is great the package comes with a extra battery incase my first on dies, tripod for stable pictures, the greatest thing off all is the case can hold my tripod,camera,extra battery,and sd card
