Great little scanner with a small footprint

Worked great right out of the box. Software was easy to install and is easy to use to organize your scans. The only problem I have is that the load area could have a little bit better guide to get the page in straight the first time.

I am extremely pleased with my Scansnap! First was how simple it was to attach to my computer and setup. Very light weight and small enough to store in my purse or brief case. I had many receipts that were torn and wrinkled..so surprised my receipts went through ScanSnap smoothly. Also, staples attached to do a piece of paper went through easily as well!! Great choice!

The S1100 is simple to setup, simple to use, and easy to carry with a highly functional case. The scanner is fast and the bundled software is excellent. It's easy to deal with multiple pages, single or double sided, color or black and white. Software auto-detects page size, color, scan side, and it can save to JPEG or searchable PDF. Altogether, a highly portable, affordable and extremely functional scanner that I would recommend to anyone.
