I was reluctant to buy an auto sheet fed scanner, since getting use to the quality of my flatbed. I'm so glad that I bought this model. It's fast, easy to use, great quality, and can feed documents of virtually every size (length). I would definitely recommend this product.

We love it! We have used many different scanners over the years and found the scansnap to be the best.

THIS HAS BEEN AN EXTREMELY FUNCTIONAL DEVICE FOR ME. THE EASE OF USE FAR SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS. THE ONLY - AND LET ME REPEAT - THE ONLY DOWNSIDE HAS BEEN THE SOFTWARE WHICH DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO NAME THE BINDERS WHICH IN TURN MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO FIND THE CORRECT BINDER WHEN USING WINDOWS EXPLORER. OVERALL A FANTASTIC PRODUCT...YES INCLUDING THE SOFTWARE.

Bought this scanner to scan my reports from home and send them to work. The scanner and it's software are very good. The scanner is fast. Just open it and drop the pile of paper in. It scans it fast and then the software asks you where you want it to go. If you want to email it a new email is opened and it is attached. If you want it filed the software provided came with an excellent filing system. One of the best I've seen. I have no complaints. I used to be a Canon junkie for cameras and scanners. However when one of their new cameras failed in the middle of a trip in Tibet and they would not provide a replacement in Lhasa I swore off their product. I'm glad I did because I've found that companies like Fujitsu provide better products to solve my problems.

The S1500 is a great scanner. The software bundle gives you just the right tools to make the process easy and efficient. I highly recommend it. Rack2Binder is the solution we used to reduce mountains of miscellaneous paper (two very full filing cabinets) into searchable catalog binders. The OCR software is simple to install, configure and use. Get the bundle. Follow the tutorials. Practice scanning different paper stock and then dive into your paper project. One hint. We chose to make our documents accessible to all users on the network. By default documents are scanned to the users profile. With a few simple changes we were able to scan the documents to a shared drive location and then password protect anything personal. We back it up for safe keeping regularly to a network hard drive and periodically to a DVD disk. The Bundle is worth it. Happy scanning!
