I like having one around as a spare if someone else is using the main DVD player. It can be hooked up to a TV and, frankly, there's no noticeable difference between it and a full sized DVD player except maybe in quality of sound output.

What a neat invention. You can watch a movie anywhere and not have any issues such as a place to plug it in, or even poor reception! It also comes with a remote which I found came in very handy when entertaining. The quality is stunning and I just can’t believe something of this size can produce such magnificent quality. I thought it would be hard to figure out but the directions were pretty self explanatory. We are very happy with our purchase.
