My Epson Stylus Photo R1800 finally died last week :( I was crushed and concerned about getting a new photo printer. The R1800 was my "special" printer, just for photos, it did a fabulous job. After much research I ordered the R2880 online and anxiously awaited its arrival! It finally came today and I was NOT disappointed! Setup was a breeze, it is very similar to the R1800 so I had no problem jumping right into printing photos immediately afterward. It may be too soon to tell but so far I am thrilled with my decision to go with this model. I only used Epson brand paper (and ink) with my last Epson printer and intend on doing the same with this one. I believe it absolutely makes a difference in the finished product to stick with the brand when printing on my Epson printer.

I don't think I can give a great review because I just got my printer. What I can say, it was easy to set up, and start printing out photos.... If I can set it up anyone can... I am learning about the different types of paper thanks to Epson Stylus 2880. I would say that I take a lot pictures, and do sell some when asked. What I don't like is changing out the black ink, when I change styles of paper.. I end up with black inn on my hands. I will keep surgery gloves when I change black ink....

Setting up the Stylus Photo R2880 Inkjet Printer was simple and the printer was ready to go immediately. Since I have System 8 I had to go to the Epson website to get the most up-to-date driver. Once again, no problem. Routine printing of documents is a snap. I am rapidly learning to take advantage of the printer's capabilities for printing quality photograph. So far so good.

Just purchased a new Epson R2880 Inkjet Printer. Thank you Epson Customer Service for the fast service and great quality. I had a Epson Stylus Photo R800 and the color it produced was excellent but my new Epson R2880 has it beat. What a machine. I am an Artist and Photographer and will always buy Epson!
