I love my laptop, it is so easy to use. It can fit anywhere. The graphics on the laptop are great.

Very solid computer, took it on a motorcycle trip from NJ to Alaska 1 month 11,000 miles on a pannier not even a single problem. Worked every day thru wi-fi, handled hundred of pics and video clips. But I will upgrade ram to 2 G.

This 505 was a birthday gift in Oct. from my husband and I haven't put it down since! It does everything I need it to do except play discs. It fits in my tote or a backpack. I've even dropped it a couple of times but nothing seems to stop it - thank heavens! Wifi is great at hotspots or at home. I mainly wanted it to download and read books but saw no reason to purchase a book reader. This does the books and so much more for roughly the same price. Also, I don't have to hold it to read and can prop it easily to read in bed. I love how easy it is to adjust brightness, FN My husband had a full size Lenova laptop which is cumbersome and heavy. The battery life on his is horrible and he had to replace the battery after a year. Even he is really impressed with the battery life on my 505. My friend bought herself a laptop but when she saw my netbook, she wished she had purchased it instead. Although she also feels the lack of a disc player is problem. The little plastic feet have lost the piece that keeps it from sliding on my lapdesk. We have glued them back in several times and that is the ONLY problem I've ever had.

I've had my NB505 for about a year now and I remain very pleased with it. I'm impressed by the long battery life, keyboard, bright display, relatively light weight, surface texture, and appearance. Startup and shutdown are fast, even with Windows 7 Starter. Wi-Fi is solid. I've added an inexpensive blue-tooth dongle for connection to my smartphone. Although the screen is bright and clear, it is also the most reflective screen I've ever seen. Under bright office lighting or outdoors, the screen is mirror-like, making it somewhat difficult to view.

My Toshiba NB 505 is the center of my office. It's light enough to take anywhere in my backpack, or even just a bag, and has enough oomph to stream videos, download whatever and work on your office documents. If I had a complaint, it would be that I can upgrade to just 2 gigs of ram. Still, for a netbook, I would be hard pressed to ask for more performance for the price. I hope that Toshiba will still continue to produce netbooks or something similarly portable in the future because they're the best deal on the market. I've had my NB505 for over a year and have never regretted my purchase for a minute.
