Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
It's a good idea but it has a way to go before it's a good execution. Beware of the lack of output options, such as no S-Video if you want to watch movies on the TV. This one has a decent hard drive on it, which is nice.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I am a teacher and need a notebook just as well as my students do. I prefer this one and recommend this to my entire student body. I look for products that are easy to navigate and this one has proved to be very user friendly. A very compact machine yet has a nice size screen and the picture quality is great. Not that much memory or battery time but all in all it is a very productive piece of equipment for what us teachers and kids need it for.
