As everyone else said on ...
By TaneyVerified Reviewer from Ann Arbor, MI on 5/31/2011

As everyone else said on here the 2GB RAM was easy to install. The cover does take some time to get off. Pull but do so gently. I went from 1 GB to 3 GB with the upgrade. What was great is that with my Toshiba Sat. 105A model there was an extra unused RAM slot that I didn't know about so I could just insert the new 2 GB of RAM into it without loosing my existing 1 GB of RAM.

How to put RAM in - Review
By zztopVerified Reviewer from Howell, MI on 1/30/2010

The 2GB RAM is easy to put in. Unscrew the single screw on the small panel on the underside of the computer. The panel doesn't come off easy, pull hard it will pop off. The RAM card is held in by 2 clips. Carefully pull these away from each other (one left one right). The RAM card will pop up, then carefully pull it out. Gently slide in the new RAM card and pop the holding clips together to lock the card in. Replace the panel and screw.

I found the RAM made a huge difference in the speed of my NB205-N230 toshiba net book. Windows open faster, skype works better, all processes work faster and better. My netbook no longer freezes up when many windows and applications are running at the same time. I went from 1GB of RAM to the 2GB of RAM. The result is a significant difference in speed and multiple app. speed overall. It is worth the extra money.
