It just arrived today and I haven’t stopped playing with it! I have to say that it has passed all of my tests and I am defiantly giving it an AAA++++! I printed calendars, postcards, business cards, pictures; just about anything you can think of and had no problems at all!

First off, it is very easy to set up and you can choose whether to have it run off of a USB port, or you can network it through your system. Prices have come down a lot for this printer. It now offers great HP quality for a relatively inexpensive price. I haven't had any problems with printing different thickness paper. The worst thing about the printer is that it is pretty slow. It takes about 15 seconds to produce the first sheet, and only prints at 8-10 ppm. The last HP printer held 1,000 sheets of paper, was extremely fast and the all black toner lasted for a long time. The 2605dn that I currently have only holds 250 sheets and the toner does not last at all. I did have to deduct one star for the bad paper feeder, but aside from that, it's superb.

I do a lot of printing and I have to say that one of the things that annoys about most printers is the fact that I'm constantly having to refill the tray. This printer holds half a ream of paper and I gotta tell ya right now, my life is a lot less interrupted by the demands of the printer to constantly be fed! This is a really terrific printer for those who print a lot!
Great color for the price but...

I've always used HP printers, I just think that the quality that you receive for the price versus other brands are worth it. I've had Okidata and canon's but I've always had some sort of issues with them such as papers not aligning or getting jammed more often than necessary.
I almost bought this model, but I have 3 kids in high school, and 2500 pages of ink are gone in one semester. If you do a lot of printing at home also, check out the HP CP3505n, those cartridges print 6000 pages and it's just $200 more than this printer.
Oh, btw, if you go with this printer.. don't ever buy ink. It comes with a supply that prints 2500 pages, 4 ink carts (also 2500 pages) will cost you $300. Just buy another one.
