If you can get a refurbished product like this then what are you waiting for? I have a Mac and was thrilled that I was able to use this with it. It is a very nice printer with a lot of memory and a great price! I would recommend it to anyone that likes to work with graphics.

The biggest advantage is that the prints are massive and super quality. The only drawback is huge initial outlay - doubtful to be handy for the average home user. The printer is appropriate for Mac also. I don’t know anything about Vista compatibility. To date, we have only had one issue with the printer which was owing to an IT upgrade causing the device to loss its drivers but once reinstalled; it worked fine. It is just like its little HP relatives; its quality is outstanding; set up is easy; providing you can justify the cost you will be contented.

We got this printer because occasionally, we need to Rip files to printer specs. But we don't have to do it often enough to go with a huge machine at a huge cost. This machine is doing very well for us. good price, good quality, good color, I would have preferred if it was a bit more durable-looking, but it seems to handle the work just fine.

Very Nice and Sharp

I was a little disappointed to learn that it can't do borderless printing on large paper. Also, you have to feed big sheets through the back of the printer, which is a little tricky because you've got to line it up perfectly or it will spit it back out. Overall, I'm very happy with this printer. I have printed school marketing posters with full photo quality and it looks as though we hired a professional. We can get the paper right from the website. It has a variety of media it can print on from regular heavy paper, glossy photo paper, and even Tyvek. This six ink system is what HP has switched to for any printer with photo quality output like its higher end Deskjets and most anything named Photojet. Although this sounds like a money making scheme to require more cartridges it is what some companies have been doing for years now and that is not requiring you to switch out a complete cartridge when only one color might be low.

Nice printer!

This is a very nice photo printer. It prints at 4PPM (which is good for photographs). I highly recommend this to any photographer.
