No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Disc that came with unit had no usable sofware for Windows 7. Online they had a drive but no software for things like maintenance. Site claims Window 7 ready and that sofware was ready December 2009. As of March 2010 was not available. Still not setting up properly between my software and the printer but I have been able to use it.
