this is my first ever computor that i have owned,i purchased it because im going to college for computor technology for two yrs.Im 44 yrs old,worked for 32 yrs until in 2006 i fell 40ft from a tree here in Minnesota and crushed 5 lower vertebrea and my right foot and also some neck vertebrea ..anyways in put together with lots of hardware ,some screws are broke though,still cant sleep on left side,hands and arms always twangen from nerve damage,..took two yrs to get on RSDI,one day was sitten here and on a wim went dwn to the college and got on board,and i have no putor exper,..things are kinda mind boggeling,as im in Microsoft Op Systems,Cisco,It Essentails and Intro 1..every body loves this Toshiba including me,ive got the most kick putor in the place!!..Im pleased it runs like a great piece of machinery,it clicks real cool when going to programs,the Reel Time Real is the bomb,of course Harman/Kardon is the best for speakers,the backlit keys glow red,the big keys the performance,..its a hog on fuel[battery juice]..and ya need a mack truck to transport it as i go 10 blocks with it everyday of the work week..but over all and by far the best thing ive ever invested in is this 775 Qosimo! Im very proud of this machine ..its a powerhouse that should last me for yrs,i also got a 1-terrabite ext,harddrive from 'HP',so ..i love my wireless mouse ,my flash drive,this machine is just that ..[espeacally when i have riped some 'Six Feet Under''.for tunes [lol]...sounds killer..i dont game so..but yes im with all you Toshiba supporters of this kick Qosimo x775..i recommend this to anyone,only buy this machine here,dont buy one of them junk Dells,..go to Office Max and spend some real cash for some real quality and performance..dont get off the boat unless your going all the way!!..thanks every one for listening and i need all the help i can get with my homework ..if anyone is close enough to me out there..PLEASE!!

I love the Qosmio X775! It is perfect. True it is large but it is a desktop replacement. My friends and family consider me Tech Savvy, but actually I am probably just a proficient user. I do design work for my church. I am using Photoshop CS5 and it is a whiz with this laptop. Downloading CS5 was simple with this laptop. I can have as many windows open at one time as I want without a problem. This is my third Toshiba laptop. I have been very pleased with them all. In the past, I have owned a Dell and a few HP computers. Several years ago I bought a discontinued Toshiba Satellite for my daughter because it was on sale in the store. The second time I purchased a Satellite that was an awesome deal because a store was closing. It is still working and in excellent condition, but was being shared with my daughter. This computer is solely for my own use and I purposely purchased directly from Toshiba based on my prior experiences with their products. This is my first purchase of a Qosmio and I do not regret it for a moment.

I like this computer - but I get choppy video streaming when I play movie or game trailers. Haven't attempted to watch a movie yet.

my pc keeps throwing up a blue screen and dumps files..its been crashing..otherwise I like it..also I was given a bios update from windows and im afraid 2 download it cause when I had another computer and I downloaded it..the mother board was burned out
