Everything seems to work well. I travel a lot - the size and weight of this model is perfect for me. I recommend that you create your rescue media right away on recepit. Along with any downloaded programs. I had to (still not sure why) rebuild my system about three weeks after receipt -- it just would not start.

I would also like to see LESS pre-loaded programs, especially Norton products. I use Kaspersky. You cannot load another anti-virus unless you get Norton off. I can only say that is like trying to get a stubborn virus off. The Norton removal tool did not work either. I had to resort to getting into the registry (which is not recommended for most users) to get rid of Norton.

My new Toshiba laptop is definitely one of the best laptops I've ever owned. The i7 core processor speed is extremely fast, especially when combined with the new Rockmelt browser. I love the wood grain feel & look, which leaves no fingerprints. The design & durability are wonderful. I really love the option to toggle the mouse pad off & on. This helps me so much when I'm typing, as on my past Toshiba Satellite I was always dragging my hand across the mouse pad & it was very frustrating. The speakers are well above par in comparison to other laptops. They?re very loud, not that crackerbox sound. The option to have the keys backlit is kind of nice; however, it does drain your battery a lot quicker. The battery life is not the best on this laptop. I?ve never gotten more than about 2 hours & 45 minutes out of my fully charged battery. I love the voice integration & I love having a keypad on my laptop & the feel & size of the keyboard is very user friendly. The graphics are top notch on this laptop. I?m very pleased with my Toshiba Satellite P755-S5269 purchase & would highly recommend this laptop!
