I bought this Toshiba Tecra because my last laptop was a Toshiba Tecra, and that older Toshiba lasted a little over 8 years, being used almost all day, every day, without incident. This new Toshiba is fast, has exceptional audio, and its functions are intuitive, so it's easy to use. I had all my programs loaded on and was using this new machine within just a couple hours. The wide screen and clear graphics allow me to work long hours on it without eye strain.
