Was torn between the Sony Bravia KDL - 55HX729 and the Samsung UN55D8000 - Now that we have the TV home - we are so glad we went with the SONY! If you are on the fence and trying to decide and if you are a movie lover, this is the TV for you. I recommend getting a 3D Blu Ray player and Monster Cables - YOU WONT BELIEVE YOUR EYES. Glad I chose this 3D HDTV - wish I had seen the reviews before but glad i made the choice. thanks to the BestBuy salesman who advised the Sony TV was a better TV - I now see why!You Won't Be Sorry!

I have always bought Sony products. I had a 46inch Xbr3 which went out on me after 5yrs. While planning on getting it fixed, I decided to buy a new TV. Since I was upset with Sony I bought a 60in Sharp. The Sharp television was horrible. After Calabrating the tv it still did not look good. After one night playing with it I returned it and went back to Sony. The HX 729 is gorgeous right out of the box, no need to calibrate it. Ready to view out of the box with colors that just pop out at you.

went to Best Buy to compare 3D HDTV and this one KDL-55HX729 stood out like a diamond among the rest! Brillant picture, features, internet and extras, it updates itself! simulates #D and does it very well! im in love with this T.V!

Sounds sucks but the picture and features are great.
