this is an excellent tv. ..very nice picture .....but the sound is just awful ...volume is very poor ....not what I expect from Toshiba

The tv works great! Great picture, easy to program BUT the sound is horrible! If you are trying to watch a movie, you have to turn the volume all the way up and then hope there is no sound in the background because you can't hear. IF your going to hook it up to surround sound, I guess you wouldn't have a problem but for a small tv like this, that doesn't make sense to me.
