This monitor is wonderful for opening and viewing multiple word, pdf, and excel files....When I first hooked it up, it would go into "powersave" constantly. So, I upgraded the power supply on my computer from 300 watts to 450 watts. After that, I have had no issues. I have a 22" Samsung right next to it, and the difference between the two in clarity, depth, and brightness is night and day....The Dell is a BIG WINNER in my opinion...(AND, I'm not getting paid to say that!!)
