I originally purchased this to replace a previous Epson Printer that stopped working. Regrettably, Epson does not have a local store I could have taken it to for analysis. No matter, the other was old. At the time I was doing a church newsletter and had a need for a good printer. I use it now for all personal work, and the results it gives are really fine. Easy to work with.

I wasn't aware when I purchased this that there was a separate gloss optimizer cartridge. It was used up almost immediately, although the product description mentions "high-capacity" cartridges. 30 pages shouldn't exhaust a high-capacity cartridge. This has soured my otherwise favorable experience with this printer. The wireless feature is very convenient.

This printer replaced a Stylus Photo R1900. With the R2000 Epson has corrected all that was wrong with the R1900. The ink cartridges last much longer. It also prints black on white pages faster. And, the ink nozzles no longer get plugged up. Like the R1900, the R2000 prints beautiful, glossy photos. I definitely can recommend this printer.

My R1900, which I bought after my 1800 gave out, recently went belly up after 4 yrs. of continuous printing. I work street fairs and art venues to sell my work so I needed to replace asap. The R2000 was delivered in a week and work flawlessly out of the box. Set up was fast and first print was right on the money. Cant go wrong if you need archival printing and beautiful color.
