Great quality but sucks ink. When the ink well draws close to empty, the printer won't print. The Gloss Optimizer, which I really don't need, is the main culprit. Had this printer for 4 months and have gone through 3 of those cartridges. Epson should really fix this.

DVD/CD Printing, Large Format Printing (for me anyway), General Service (checks/pdfs and on-line and pictures of all types on wide variety of paper formats. ALL WITH EXCELLENT QUALITY on demand. Ink consumption is reasonable at a variety of quality settings and best of all, at close to 2 years old. It just keeps on ticking just like my 740 and 1280 did. My hopes are that I can keep getting driver updates. TTG

I love this printer. You can physically hook it up to your computer or you can use WiFi to print with no cords dangling. It does a great job of printing as long as your monitor is calibrated.

The set up was quick...I love this printer. The Gloss Optimizer adds a great deal to the print quality when going for lustrous prints. The colors are very vibrant. Epson fine art papers also print beautifully and hold the deep rich blacks well...Once you get the knack of loading these papers, the results are very pleasing.

This is my second Epson printer. It prints photos excellent. Although I have not been using is long enough to find out if the photos don't fade in over 100 years. I will let you know later. I have found out it uses less ink then my 1800. Which I was very happy with. In conclusion, I would recomend this printer and probably any Epson product to be purchased. Thank you for your time.
