Outstanding Epson Photo R2000 Printer
from San Antonio, TX on 3/8/2014
I have owned five Epson printers--currently have four. I decided to upgrade to a pure photo printer and decided on the R2000. I am 100% satisfied in my decision. The R2000 produces beautiful photographs and far exceeds my expectations in quality. I love that I can print in larger sizes and can use roll paper. I love Epson paper, ink, and printers and would never choose any other printer. I will only use the R2000 for photographic work and will keep my Stylus RX680 connected for other printing needs as it is still a great printer.

First of all I am a hobby photographer but I am picky about color and picture quality. This printer exceeds my expectations for color and meets my expectations for b&w. The b&w is good but not quite neutral to my eye. If I did a lot of b&w I may have considered the R3000 or R2880 which we also have and does a great job on b&w. The R2000 certainly rivals or surpasses many lab printers. It has printed well on any paper I put in it so far. I am very pleased with the purchase so far and would do it over again.

I only use Epson printers because their photographic quality is far above any other printer on the market. Believe me when I say I've tried them all! I'm a freelance photographer and I expect perfection with my work and Epson printers deliver that perfection. I own 5 Epson printers but the Stylus Photo R2000 is the one I use the most. The colored photographs are amazing in both clarity and color. I would highly recommend this printer... or any printer from Epson if you want quality results. Also, don't skimp on the paper just to save a buck! Trust me, you may be saving a little money but you'll be losing a whole lot more in your pictures! If you want quality pictures printed you need quality paper and Epson has the best on the market. I say it's Epson all the way!

I received my r2000 this morning. I had researched a lot of different printers and models and in the end wanted one that used pigment ink for display purposes that would not fade. I was worried about the complexity of getting the printer installed and running. It wound up being very easy and I was up and running very quickly. I am using lightroom 5.3 for formatting to print. I ran some trial prints to see the end product and was very pleased at the colors and clarity of the prints. The written instructions were easy to follow using a usb cable connection to my computer. The printer was packaged great with of course tons of tape to keep things in tack. One image was of the rare Pygmy Killer Whales I shot last month in Hawaii and the blues of the ocean and sky was amazing. The printer is very quiet, more so than my HP document printer. Larry Larry

I use the Epson R2000 to print Super B 13x19 boarderless graphic art. I use the rear feeder and 1.2 mm thick cotton cover paper. It works great because it makes seamless boarderless prints. (Does take some getting used to, feeding takes skill and patience. Page set up takes skill and knowhow.)
