Super easy to install and so quiet! I finished the installation with the test print and was cross because it wasn't printing, or so I preceived -- just SO MUCH quieter than any other printer I've owned that I didn't realize it was printing. Very fast also. Am sure I will enjoy this printer.

Haven't used all the features, but more convenient than Epson Color 2200 it replaced. Network, wired and wireless, and ability print CD's and DVD's convinced me. Overall, very satisfied. Looks cool, too!

This is a top of the line printer for those who want consistantly high quality prints every time. As far as I know, no other printer can match Epsons engineering. I was looking for a printer that would render black and white images as good as your best photo labs can produce. I have found it in the Epson R3000. The images are as good as you can make them. I have read complaints about how much ink this printer uses. In my experience, this machine uses no more ink than any other quality printer. The cost of the inks seem high but you are getting twice the amount of ink when compared to smaller printers. Also, you are buying pigmented inks. This printer and the inks are worth every penny. If you compare the cost of a photo lab to this printer, the Epson is by far much more cost effective. Plus, you are in complete control. If you don't like the first results, then just change your settings and print again. No waiting for an outside print lab to get it right. I use to print color and black and white in a wet darkroom. Not so much any more. This is the way to go. It leaves me more time for creativity. One more note. Before I purchased this printer, I pondered over the R3000 vs the R3880. I liked the idea of larger prints with the R3880 but I also like the idea of the wi-fi with the R3000. In the end I decided on the R3000. To me, the wi-fi was more important than larger prints. Besides, all the years I printed in a dark room, I probably only made 5 or 6 16x20 prints. I made 100s of 8x10s and 11x14s. So, it was a no brainer for me. Why buy something with a feature you may seldom use. I can go to a lab for that. Of course, this is just my preferences. Your needs may be different.

Compared with my former Wide Format printer, that I struggled with to the point of disinterest, this unit has revived my dreams of how easy it can be to create beautiful, amazing images start to finish. There is no guessing or waste. What you see is what you get. Spot on. And the software is easily installed and the whole package is so user freindly. AMAZINGLY FREINDLY. I have used this printer to make eight prints and already looking forward to an upgrade. Thanks Epson
