Right side dead, wire stripped by clip

Pros:
Good sound, Great for running, Light
Cons:
Right side went dead; poor quality materials
As opposed to most negative reviews, the left speaker still sounds great. It's the right one that went dead. I guess this shows that not all left speakers are bad. Also, the clip meant to hold the cable to the shirt, sleeve, etc. allows for the cable to move within a guide. Well, a quick tug on the cable proved how useful that is: the cable got stripped, separating the wires inside. This was after the right speaker went dead, so it turned what was already a bad experience into a terrible one.I'd have expected more from Sony, and was disappointed instead. Sony - if you're reading this - the experience with these headphones made me reconsider buying a VAIO laptop, and I went with Dell XPS instead. Digital camera? Now a Canon. Yeah, building a brand name starts with the little things.

Pros:
Good sound, inexpensice, Lightweight
Cons:
left earpiece goes dead after a few months
i've had two pairs of these over the last year (i returned the first pair and got a second as a replacement), and the left earpiece has gone mostly dead in both of them. i'm not particularly hard on them. so i don't think the wires are getting damaged.
Do not purchase: Right speaker fails routinely

Do not buy these headphones. I've purchased two pair and neither lasted more than a month or so before the right speaker failed. They should pull this off the market. They are a waste of money.

Pros:
Good sound, inexpensice, Lightweight
Cons:
left earpiece goes dead after a few months
This is the second set I have purchased and now it like the first has the right side playing at only partial volume. Maybe some kind of short or the sound device internals are failing. Two sets, two failures and other reviews citing the same thing
These headphones have even Bose beat!

Pros:
Comfort, Headphones stay in place, Sound quality for price
Cons:
wire is weak and prone to damage
I bought these headphones last April and I have to say that these are the best pair of headphones I've ever owned. I bought these after my two pairs of Skull Candy earbuds broke. The sound quality on those were great, but they were terribly unreliable. My brother had a $100 set of earbuds from Bose, and like the Skull Candies, they broke in a short period of time. I put these on and WOW!!! The sound quality is better than both the Skull Candy and the Bose earbuds, for a fraction of the price of the latter. I would buy another pair, but at this rate, I think these will last me a good 10 years. Simply amazing! I don't know how anybody could complain about these headphones.
