I bought this card to connect 4 x 1TB Hitachi drives in Raid 5. This card is very small and capable. I tested the speed of my raid 5 in Windows 7 and I got about 400MB/s for reading and 180 MB for writing which is pretty good.When you install Windows you need to use the provided cd so Windows can install the drivers. In Linux is a different story. You have to compile the drivers but is not that difficult and works fine.The cons part is that the card did not come with sas to sata cables and when tried to flash bios either from Windows or Dos couldn't do it.
