I have been searching for a Scanner for quite sometime. I own a greeting card company and we are always using this to create something. I needed something that was going to hold its own and this has. I am very impressed with the quality.

When I installed this scanner, I received document conversion error messages from Fax-maker. Actually, the digital sender produces G4 tiffs but fax-maker gives support to the G3 format only. Though, I am not sure has anybody else out there managed to work round this issue. I think it can be handled by installing some app on the FM machine with the capability to print the G4 tifs. Under FM configuration, going to document conversion after including tif; in the command field you only need to enter PRINT. When you reboot FM services, the G4 tif's should print to the FaxMaker printer through the app that monitors tif files on the system, rather than FaxMaker managing tif's natively. The built-in software makes things quite smooth. The overall performance is satisfactory – nice ratings go for that!

If you know anything about working in a law firm, you know that there are volumes and volumes of documents on a daily basis. We spend a fortune in paper, printing and toner. That's why we got this scanner. There are hundreds of documents that we are now able to scan into our main office netweork and send out without all the paper and printing costs. This is exactly what we needed for our team of attorneys. It has been a huge cost saver. More importantly, we are finding that the software and the document feeders are very reliable. We had a little trouble with set up, but that was fairly easily resolved.

Less than 24 hours from placing my online order, I received my item!. Just wanted to say "Thank You" for the wonderful service. As a college instructor of subjects such as "Principles of Selling", "Managerial Ethics" and such, it is a pleasure to see things done correctly. This great scanner can scan up to 60,000 pages a month. If you have a lot of pages, you need HP's 9250c Digital sender. I use the built in JetDirect port to easily connect to the network . The great DSS 4 software lets you save the files in a variety of formats including PDF, JPEG, and RTF, which we required in a scanner. The workflow can include an FTP site or a printer.

We figured it was about time too. We had walls of binders (including two rooms in the basement storage) and finding old documents was just beginning to be a headache. At times, it would take our guys over two hours just to find a specific document that we were looking for. We upgraded on our server storage space and purchased this document scanner in hopes of bringing efficiency back into the workspace.

This scanner is amazingly fast and accurate. The included software made things very smooth in our transition and we couldn't be happier.
