I have been using this scanner for a little over a year now, suddenly on the right side, (1/2 of the page) I am getting blue images and characters, even though the background still okay. This scanner is hardly used, (Less than 300 pages scanned)

Terrible device! It worked well for about a year then it started crashing on a regular basis. When you turn the unit off it crashes your PC which then has to be re-booted. Very expensive. Not worth the money. The performance of the character recognition function is very spotty. The auto document feeder mulfunctions EVERY time the feature is used.

EPSON has a good reputation and hence I purchased this scanner. However, I am extremely disappointed with its performance and hence I would never buy EPSON scnners ever again.

Excellent performance and image quality. We share this printer with colleague through network. If the software (EPSON Scan!) can automatic adjust scanning parameter for best image quality, and then it will be perfect.
