The printer does it's job, but alot of times the paper gets jammed up and also it is TOO LOUD!! Does Epson make any other printers similar to this one that isn't so loud? IF anyone knows please advise..... thanks :0)

THE FX-890 IS A GOOD PRICE, EASY TO SET UP, AND PRINTS VERY QUICKLY. I USE IT FOR INSURANCE FORMS 1500'S AND HAVE NO PROBLEM. MY ONLY CONCERN IS I CANNOT GET IT TO PRINT DARK ENOUGH. I HAVE PUT IN A NEW RIBBON AND SAME PROBLEM.

These printers are worthless. My company bought the first one in July 2010, the Tear Off/Bin button stopped working after 13 months of use. We purchased 2 brand new printer of the same model recently, on both new printers the same button did not work. This is substandard quality on all three printers. I will not purchase another Epson dot matrix printer.

The printer is good quality and has a lot of good features for a small business but i am having trouble finding a color ink cartridge for it since it says it is color capable.

This printer was bought to replace an older model impact printer that would not run under Windows 7. Printer works great, Windows7 had the drivers. Print quality good. Will save a lot of money over the life of the printer.
