I have had two LQ570 and now have two LQ590 Impact printers. They are by far the best and longest lasting printers I have ever owned. Do not hesitate to buy. You will never be disappointed.

Used every day for years. It simply goes and goes. Outlasts other printers 10x. We replace the printhead every 2 years when it wears out.

I purchased this printer, July 1991, and I can tell you, I LOVE MY PRINTER !! I would never ever change it for a printer that has cartridges! I recently went to purchase a USB cable for it, and the manager wanted to purchase it from me. He said, it looked like I had just taken it out of the box. I take very good care of it, and put a plastic cover on it, everynight when I shut off my pc.

We bought this printer to replace one of the same model. This is the third one of this model the company has bought. The printer works great and over time the others have stopped working after long use. Since the company is in a rural area, buying a new one is faster than getting one worked on. The comment we wish to make is that the new one squeaks while printing. This does not seem to make a difference with the printing but it is noticeable and makes one believe that it is having a hard time printing. The concern is whether or not this is going to have an impact on the long term performance of the printer. However, we have been using this printer for about a month and it is wonderful.

Just placed in operation and am very pleased. We use two and 3 copy forms and all copies are great. Good font selection also.
