Pros:
Accurate Colors, Great Resolution, Images pop out the drame, Nice Features and Settings, Rugged, Simple Controls
Cons:
Should have bought sooner
Best Uses:
Great for vacation, Home, Office, Travel, Weddings/Events

wow! last canon camera I bought 5 years back was about same price, 3 times a big/bulky, only 2x zoom and 3.0 megapixels... we've come a long way, baby... can't say enough about how happy I am with photo quality.

So far so good
By Gadget LoverVerified Reviewer from San Francisco, CA on 8/16/2006
Pros:
Good zoom, Nice Features and Settings, Portable
Cons:
No manual controls
Best Uses:
Home, Travel, Weddings/Events

I've had this camera for a few days and I've been loving it so far! It's small enough to carry around when I go out, but it also feels more solid than some of the ultra-slim cameras being sold these days. The Image Stabilization feature seems to work pretty well, though I'm no expert on this.

The optical zoom is very good for a point-and-shoot camera (4x) and there's a digital zoom that can be used as well, though I don't recommend it.

I haven't had a need to mess around with manual controls (exposure time, f-stop, etc), but if you're the type of photographer that needs to, this might not be the camera for you. If you're looking for a portable, functional camera to use around the home or while travelling, this is the one to get.
