Okay so i bought these from [...] just today for [$](i literally just got home from [...]) and i am going to pack them up and give them back as soon as possible. When talking about quality and value, these would be a great value if i had not heard $10 speakers that sound better. By no means are they supposed to be Bose quality, but they are not even close to sounding decent enough for [$]. The other review is right, not only do they sound tinny but the bass response is practically nonexistant. They sound like they have a severe mid and lower bass scoop, meaning all of the sound spectrum you are getting is Treble, and low mid. It reminds me of the low quality of Skullcandy headphones, except in a speaker incarnation and without the massively overpowering bass. NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BUY THESE SPEAKERS.

This setup has the same great look that many manufacturers are following. It's easily setup and ready to go. "Easily" as in a one page instruction sheet would probably be overdoing it, always a huge plus in my book. The sub woofer is in a well constructed enclosure. However, that being said the sound does come out very "tinny" primarily of course from the satellite speaker quality. A lack of at least a front panel volume control hurts this product as well. It doesn't handle volume increases from the input source (in my case, a PC) very well. Sound distorts quite quickly. (My cons about this product may seem harsh, but it's important to note that for the low price it is a great product!)
