Had this for three years now and works as good now as on the first day. It doesn't like low powered radio stations so if that's all you got in your area step away from it, but the sound is great and the wife loves to plug her little shuffle into it and listen all day on the weekends.
Love it, when it works.. CD won't catch reliably

Pros:
Great device for the kitchen, nice to have a remote, too.
Cons:
CD stopped catching., Installation with spacers was difficult
I love this appliance-- works as expected and has extra features I hadn't considered including audio in (from ipod or pandora on cell phone). However, just after a couple weeks of use, the CD stopped "catching." It would spin the disc, but unless the entire unit was fist-bumped repeatedly (like the old tube-type TV days!), the disc doesn't catch, and the CD won't play. Repeat this cycle several frustrating times, and it finally catches and plays.

Pros:
Sleek; compact; stylish
I thoroughly enjoy my Sony kitchen CD player. I listen to the radio or music every day while preparing meals or cleaning. No static, ever. From day one, it's been sheer enjoyment. I just purchased a second as a "requested" gift for a family member. Thanks, Sony!
