Pros:
audio input, cd, Great sound/ plays am/fm, ipod/ No problems/ easy to use
Cons:
a little tricky to work the timer/alarm
I don't know what is wrong with the systems that these other reviews are based on. I have had mine for five years in my bedroom, and the sound quality is great. I find it a little tricky to work with the alarm/timer function, but it's not that hard. I haven't had any trouble at all with the cd player, by the way. I just love this stereo; it's a decent price for a system this nice. I don't see me buying another system for a long time.

Pros:
Good design, Great price
I bought this just before my daughter was born for her room. After 18 months it stopped playing CDs. I'm kind of giving up on Sony. I had a 60" Sony TV. After 5 years a blue spot showed up on the screen. I found out that there was a recall on it but by the time my TV had the problem the recall was over. Had to buy a new TV. Have a Sony camcorder. The touch screen on it broke ofter a month. Was repaired under warranty. I rarely use it because you can shoot good videos with a regular camera as well and it's easier to carry it around. I turned it on recently and I have the same problem. Of course now it is not under warranty. Got a laptop last year and that is still working well. I hope for a long time.

It may look small and a bit disappointing, but it works great. You'll be surprised when you play music into it. It has great sound at a very good size. The price is reasonable but could be lower. Good for indoor rooms not sure about outdoors though. iPod dock works great.

Didn't last long at all considering the price and brand name.
For being Sony, this unit should not have died in a year. I've had old radios and boomboxes that have lasted me well over 10 to 15 years. Yet this unit is dead after only a year? For the price, this is completely unacceptable. Sony refuses to fix it as well. I've always loved Sony products, but this is now the second to fail on me this year. First being a 2010 Sony TV failing in less than 6 months. Look elsewhere for a quality mini shelf system...

Pros:
sounds alot better then it looks
I LOVED this thing! great sound. it broke in 3 years. I don't know if that is good or not because this is my first shelf system.
