This is a great unit and I love all the features. My only complaint is there is some static with no sound coming through the speakers on every source but the CD player. This static can only be turned off by completely muting the unit.
how much did I pay for this?

Pros:
Great sound, LOUD, loud style
Cons:
dose not allow you to get very loud with out distorsion
this is great! I have almost no complaints exept the wiegt. plus it more than likely will distort at a low volume if the song has alot of bass. but a great part is the fact that the sub woofer can bee turned down of off. its portable........sort of weight is an isue if you want partability, the plus side is its handle is huge! my second faavorite part is the looks, i mean they just scream! my favorite part is the bass, wow its alot. the air hole in the back is like a bass bomb. and its one of the very few casset payers aviable...... but you wont problebly use that any way. best of all the pirce is around 100 bucks and it sounds more like 200.

Pros:
Excellent price, Good sound, plays MP3
Cons:
LCD display almost unreadable, limited controls, Very bulky
I needed a portable CD/MP3 player with good quality sound for playing classical music. I did my research and narrowed the choice to the Sony G700 and the JVC Kaboom. What finally decided me was the price difference - the JVC is over $100 more. Many reviews of the G700 mentioned the Tape Player as being very bad, but I won't be playing tapes. I ordered through SonyStyle instead of Amazon because I was able to get a 3-yewar extended warranty for $14.99.
