I have this unit located about 200 feet from my home. It receives a signal from about 150 yards and then relays it to my home. I supplied power to it and configured it. Wow-it could not have been any easier. Then I located it outside and plugged it into 200 feet of extension cords. You could also run the equivalent amount of Ethernet cord to the device since it is Power Over Ethernet POE. It transmits the signal wonderfully. I get incredible speeds too. No loss whatsoever. Since I cannot get DSL but my neighbor can-this has been a great solution. Yes-my neighbor knows and I am paying him too. He has the fastest DSL available and I get incredible speeds now too. Right now it is -12 degrees and my speeds are 3.04 mb/s per second. Upload speeds are .53 mb/s from [@]
