The Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess AP124 (OAW-AP124) is high-performance 802.11n (3x3) MIMO, dual-radio (concurrent 802.11a/n + b/g/n) indoor wireless access points capable of delivering combined wireless data rates of up to 600 Mbps. This access point works in conjunction with Alcatel-Lucent OmniAccess WLAN switches to deliver high-speed, secure user-centric network services in education, enterprise, finance, government, health care, and retail applications. To protect access point installed in unsecured areas, or during use in distributed encryption modes of operation, security credentials can be stored in a trusted platform module (TPM) microcontroller.
