The MIL-SM8TXAF2GPA connects remote POE segment to the network over fiber. The switch delivers a full 15.4Watts of DC power on each of eight POE switch ports. POE ports provide data connection and the power source (PSE) for such POE PD devices as Wireless Access Points, VoIP phones and Network Cameras. The series includes a PD signature sensing and power monitoring features per the IEEE 802.3af standard. Other POE features include Over-Current Protection and Under-Current Detection. The series is fully compatible with devices that comply with the IEEE802.3af standard and it is capable of inserting power on the unused pairs of the MDI.
