The Matrix N1 chassis design provides a single slot for a new advanced generation of modules, the Matrix DFE series modules. All DFE modules, including PoE, are supported, however, the N1 chassis does not supply PoE power to PoE-capable DFE modules. The N1 chassis can be installed as a freestanding unit or installed into a standard 19-inch rack.
