The EDGE™ Boost Micro Solid State Drive (SSD) utilizes the premium SandForce SF-2181 controller and is designed to fit into small form factor systems accepting mSATA drives. Fast read and write speeds of up to 280MB/s and 275MB/s (in a SATA II 3Gb/s system) can be achieved respectively. Outstanding read and write speeds coupled with a 50,000 max IOPS rating, provide fantastic performance gains in boot time, file transfers, and loading software applications.

Security is a critical feature of the Boost Micro SSD, featuring 128-bit AES hardware encryption that secures 100% of data when enabled. The feature-rich SandForce controller comes standard with robust tools such as TRIM, S.M.A.R.T., Garbage Collection, wear leveling, and ECC to promote stability and reliability. SandForce exclusive functions- Durawrite and RAISE-further enhance data efficiency and increase the lifespan of the SSD.
