  I was told that the item which is fast, and working would file scanned items automatically in folders. It has not done this so far. This was the selling point. At present, it is a process of scanning, then either creating a folder, then dragging it to the folder. However, when trying to find the item, it was not on the drive I placed it, and found it in Paper Port, with all scanned items in that spot with no delineation. Is it me, or the equipment, salesmen don't. lie!

  This scanner grabs multiple pages. We called Epson and they took no responsibility for their product. Having 10 years experience with scanning the one thing I can say is don't buy this product or any other epson produce.

  It took me a few hours experimenting to learn the best scanning settings that would produce the smallest size PDF files to email, but I'm not naturally adaptive to new software and I got a huge project out within a couple days.

  The scanner is fast. The best feature is being able to scan duplex documents in one pass. The document feeder is very accurate over a wide range of document types. The software is surprisingly flexible. I have scanned two boxes of paper and all the searchable PDF's easily fit on one CD-ROM.
