SIIG's DP 1-Port RS232 Serial PCI with 16550 UART adapter card is designed to add one 9-pin RS232 serial to your PCI enabled desktop computer. This serial adapter comes with one high-speed 16550 UART serial ports with 256-byte FIFO buffer to deliver data transfer rates up to 230Kb/s. The dual profile design, along with the included spare low-profile bracket, allows you to install the board into either standard height or low profile system chassis. The DP 1-Port RS232 Serial PCI with 16550 UART is the smart and cost effective solution to add one RS232 serial port for additional serial port device connections.
