...although, I didn't actually pay for it. I won one of these at Shopko. My iPod Touch has been acting up, so I've been using this until I can afford to get a new iPod. My point is, this is a cheap MP3 player, and its features/entertainment value reflect that. It's a good little player, and is ideal for young kids who aren't responsible enough for something more expensive, but it will not be replacing the iPod Touch for me. For the moment, however, it gets the job done as far as music goes. It supports videos and photos, as well, but the picture quality is low. In closing, I will say that the included drag-and-drop Content Transfer tool is incredibly simplistic and handy. Fun!

Overall its a good mp3 player. I like the several different variety's of sounds that can be produced. It's sturdy and can survive a wash haha. My only complaint is that it, in my opinion never turns off, I find it annoying how it uses up power in a standby mode. This function needs the ability to be turned off or on according to the user.

I got this to replace an iPod nano that broke after 2 years, and am really glad that I did. Almost everything about the Sony is superior to the nano, from price (about half) to sound (a lot richer) to battery life (goes about 40 full workouts for me without needing to be recharged). I particularly love the playback options, especially the variable speeds (good for audiobooks). The only thing I miss about the nano is the proprietary click wheel, since the Sony controls took a little bit of getting used to while jogging.

I have several iPod's and Sony's. The whole iPod sync thing, to me, stinks. The cost of two questions to Apple buys you the Sony, with money left over.

It seems obvious that Sony is not trying hard enough when it comes to producing it's MP3 players and it's beginning to show. It has been several years now since Sony has released these particular models, and there have been virtually no changes since then. The customer is still limited to a max of 16GB's rather than given the option for 1 of 2 things. Either a biigger harddrive to hold more songs. (If Kingston can product a flashdrive with 256GB then Sony Can too!) or the other option would be an expansion slot. These two ideas seem like the most basic options for an MP3 player to have, but unfortunately Sony chooses to meet the standard requirements rather than exceeding our expectations. Another dissapointing feature to these MP3 players is the fact that Sony still hasn't figured out how to make a product that doesn't smear with finderprints because of it's greasy surface. Is anyone still impressed by the 'Shiny' look to these gadgets anymore? It's a huge pain having to clean these things ten times a day, so why don't we just move back to a matte finish and save us all a lot of time and energy. Bottom line ... Sony needs to try harder..

Except for the fact, that it plays only wma video files, this player is a gem. I fell in love with this at the first sight, and it has never dissapointed me. I use this throughout my leisure hours and it has been about 8 months that i bought it; i just love it.
Thank you Sony, the walkman mp3 player has become the part and parcel of my life.

I got this for my Mother's Day gift since my iPod broke after too much use. It is much, much more affordable. The quality is comparable to my iPod, but there is only one docking station by Sony and it costs twice as much as the walkman itself! Easy to use, good sound, easy to transfer music to. Hopefully it will last until my cell phone contract is up so I can get an iPhone.

like every 2 or or three times i plug it in my computer it says i must reformat my mp3 player and it has got to the point that i am ready 2 throw it at the wall it has did that 2 me 4 times in the last 3 months
