I purchased this scanner for personal use to scan documents, pictures and for faxing.
This scanner is compact and very portable. It works great for the things I need it to do. For a USB powered scanner it is faster than I would have expected. The software is relatively easy to use with an easy setup. I would not rate the software excellent but for what I need to do, it is more than adequate. This is an excellent scanner for occasional use but I am not sure how it would fare with continuous use. I would recommend this scanner for anyone needing a portable unit for occasional use.
