The clock overall has a nice appearance. The background color and smooth and not too harsh for the nights. The clock has two alarms which allow to set one for weekdays and weekends. The sound is clear and loud, it was better than I expected. The Battery was dead out of the box. The attachment for the Walkman is a little flimsy, I expected better from Sony. The setup was a little frustrating in the beginning, but only because it really allows you to personalize your wants. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the product . I just wish the attachment was constructed better and that setup was made easier.

I must say I could not be more pleased with the product. Instructions were clear and my Walkman fit perfectly. The adjustable brightness is a huge bonus and the remote that comes with it, while limited in features, provides convenience. The dual alarm settings provide excellent variety. Item arrived within 5 business days of order placement.

Thank you Sony for making something useful for the Walkman MP3 players. Everything seem so be IPOD friendly and very few options for the Walkman even though it is vastly superior in picture and sound especially the earbuds. One thing other than the high contast on the display, it would have been better if the walkman base plug was on the right instead of the Ericsson phone jack. i mean really how many walkman phones have you seen out there? Maybe more in Europe but not here in the US. Just makes the clock look a little unsightly. Maybe future versions could have a choice of face backlighting. Would ahave increased rating if these minor things were changed. Overall good product for an alarm clock alternative

I am sorry I purchased this product as it keeps waking me at midnight with alarm. I have studied manual and do what it says but it keeps reverting back. Knobs are too easily touched accidently and things get changed.
